December 2013 Firefighter Mark Testa was promoted to the rank of Director of E.M.S. a newly created position within the Branford Fire Dept. Mark brings not only 9 years of Branford Fire experience but 27 years overall in E.M.S. starting back to Ace ambulance in Fairfield Ct as an E.M.T.  Director Test’s daily duties would include restock\resupply of all E.M.S. equipment, training either continuing medical education or new equipment in servicing. As the role develops his jobs will change as the need for the E.M.S. director changes. The Local 2533 would like to say congratulations to Mark Testa on his promotion and we wish him all the best.
