The Branford Fire Department is staffed by trained firefighters, emergency medical technicians and paramedics. - Certified Emergency Medical Technician Basic level
- Valid Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) card issued by the Connecticut Fire Academy.
- Candidate’s who are not licensed as Paramedics, must complete an approved Paramedic course within 2 years of hire and gain medical control from New Haven Sponsor Hospital.
