 The Local 2533 is a family. Along with saving lives comes a brotherhood of bonding that stretches beyond the emergency fire calls. The fire house is an atmosphere much like a household. Everyone has a nickname, there are family dinners, house chores, weekend breakfasts, holiday gatherings, and even some practical jokes… it is home away from home.The day-to-day hightened stress levels make downtime at Local 2533 even more important. |

ScheduleBranford Fire Department is staffed 24 hours a day 365 days a year. It is comprised of four divisions. The four divisions work 24 hour shifts every fourth day. Each division has two officers (a Deputy Chief and a Captain) and six firefighter/medical personnel. |
