Congratulations to Mike Rebmann on his promotion to the rank of Captain of Training. Mike Became a Captain after many years in the fire service, most of them with the Branford Fire Department. Mike started out as an explorer with the B.F.D. in 1986. Mike became a Firefighter in 1987 with volunteer Engine 9 and Rescue 1, growing to the rank of Lieutenant. In 2002 Mike was hired to the career staff serving as a private until his promotion in December 2013. Mike has obtained the Ct state rank of Instructor 2, and Fire Officer 1 amongst others. He will utilize all the skills learned at the academy to continue to train the Firefighters of Branford. Please welcome Capt. Mike Rebmann.
